Food for Thought - Bridging Generations
115 views
Dear Implementers,
Have you also heard the buzz about Gen Z? That they have a different idea of what work life should be like? Another view of the world and different expectations of leadership? Currently, there is a lot of focus on how companies can create an attractive workplace for Gen Z and how to lead the new generations.
Our take on this is that it is not only companies and leaders who should change their ways to accommodate the younger generations. It goes both ways, and we need each other!
Let’s meet and explore the generational differences and be curious about understanding the opposing perspectives that exist in and outside of IM, which are to some extent shaped by the generation we grew up in.
To inspire us, we have invited Emilie Van Hauen, a well-known speaker on the topic of young generations.
Some of the topics she will touch upon are:
The non-hierarchical organization
Myths and facts about the young generations
Why is this generation of young people particularly challenged?
The 4 demands they are driven by to obtain success (they think!)
Young people's communities are neo-tribal. What does it mean? And how do you create them?
How to build bridges between employees of all ages while preparing for the future workplace
We hope to enlighten you, provoke you, nudge you, and inspire you.
