Facing a rare disease challenge, Sebastian from Cure Lowe Foundation shares how strategic partnerships and AI supported tools help transform uncertainty into focused action. Viewers gain insight into how technology, structure and collaboration can accelerate progress when resources are limited.

Background
Sebastian founded Cure Lowe Foundation on the same day his son Walter was diagnosed with an ultra rare condition called Lowe Syndrome. With limited medical knowledge and minimal treatment options, the family quickly realised that progress depended on moving fast, gathering data and finding the right partners to help navigate an unfamiliar landscape.

The fundraising challenge
What began as a scientific journey soon became a fundraising one. Despite early rejections, the need for a clear strategy became evident. Sebastian sought support to streamline efforts, identify meaningful opportunities and focus resources where they could create the greatest impact for families affected by the disease.

Partnering with Implement
Knowing Implement worked with AI and offered the Beyond program, Sebastian reached out. The team saw the potential of advanced tools to speed up fundraising tasks, open new opportunities and improve decision making. Together they are designing a solution that supports grant work and strengthens the organisation’s ability to act efficiently and with purpose.
